How to Cultivate Your Children’s Artistic Side at Home

by on Feb.23, 2017, under photography blog entries

12 May, 2017. (Friday) 7:30-8:30pm + Q&A

DD Centre. Unit 03B, 28th Floor, 148 Electric Road, Hong Kong (Fortress Hill MTR Exit A)

This is probably the most popular question I receive from parents: what can we do at home?

In fact, parents can do a lot, even if they don’t have any artistic experiences themselves. For an hour, Fung will share her experiences as a professional artist, an art educator and a former child. Art is like one’s back garden. It is one that stays with the students for the rest of their lives, no matter what profession they later choose to pursue. One’s life is inevitably enriched with the arts. However, the cultivation takes time and one may not see the results for years. The artist will not only share her personal insights but will also share practical exercises and games you can replicate at home right away.

Maximum 30 attendees
Fee $200 HK or $300 HK for two

Michelle Kuen Suet Fung 馮捲雪

Animals and their relationships with humans are a long recurring thread in her works.

動物和它們跟人類的關係,是馮捲雪長期以來在作品中探討的議題。
