The Penguin Ice-Cream Maker is a brilliant machine to lower the temperature. It sucks in all the hot air through its mouth.

After Penguin the Ice-Cream Maker sucks in the hot air, it digest the energy and process it in its tummy. Once its tummy is full, it releases it as cold air with a loud bang under its tail through its bum hole.

It’s certainly a useful machine for climate change.

After sucking in the hot air and blowing out cold air to lower air temperature, Penguin the Ice-Cream maker uses the excess energy to make ice-cream.

Penguin’s body features Art Deco patterns, an early 20th century school of mechanic art that celebrated progress and believed in the promise of the future and technology. There is such tension with the environmental crisis our technology and life improvement has brought.

✵✶✺

This woodcut painting is carved and then coloured with the highest quality artist pigments. Archival professional-quality paint is meant to last over 100 years. I spray the artwork with three extra layers of UV protection.

The work is framed in a beautiful ornate super sturdy solid pine wooden frame. You have a choice of black or white frames.

This piece is part of my “21 Day Challenge” project. During 1-21 November 2024, I created one small woodcut drawing per day. Each features an animal character inhabitant from my imaginary arctic country “Northlandia.”
